In late August, bear hunters begin to bait in the Northwoods. When bear hunters arrive, we know hunting season is just around the corner. Early September brings the bear hunters up to the northland. Late September brings the small game and duck hunters to the area.

Northern Minnesota boast thousands of acres of public hunting land close to Ash Trail Lodge with miles of perfect trails for the novice or expert hunter.

November Firearms Deer Hunting season bring many to northern Minnesota and our area. Some bucks enjoy a beer in the lodge after being field dressed!
