Ash Trail Lodge, located on the Ash River, is a central gateway to the unspoiled Voyageurs National Park between Lake Kabetogama and Namakan Lake. Voyageurs National Park is our big entertainment! Your vacation playground includes fishing Rainy Lake, Sand Point Lake and Crane Lake, not to mention the hundreds of islands, bays, rock formations, wildlife, eagles, sandy beaches & day use sites available to you just as they were when the Voyageurs traveled here a few hundred years ago. Since the late 1930's Ash Trail Lodge has been hosting fishermen, hunters, family reunions & snowmobile enthusiasts. Our facilities and owner have changed but the pristine beauty and hospitality of our lodge has not.
Anglers have access to over 70,000 acres of lake surface full of walleye, smallmouth bass, crappie, and northern pike. It doesn't get any better than fishing on Lake Kabetogama and Namakan Lakes! Access even more fishing by portaging over to the south end of Rainy Lake via Kettle Falls on Namakan Lake. Snowmobilers have access to hundreds of miles of groomed trails both inside and out of Voyaguers National Park. Four seasons of popular outdoors activities are based right from our lodge!
